James had a wonderful rehearsal and performance period with the MDR Sinfonieorchester and was particularly honored to perform in Leipzig's famous Gewanhaus. Maestro Garrett Keast, (who took over a week before the performances due to Maestro Lan Shui's ongoing injury) was wonderful to work with and James greatly appreciated the collaboration they enjoyed during the process.
James has now settled into Dessau where he has begun rehearsals for the upcoming Weill Fest 2013shows which will be conducted by James Holmes. He also continues his preparation for the upcoming "Madame Butterfly" with New Zealand Opera which begins at the end of the month.
